Spring Ghost
USA 2017
director, cinematographer, editor
16mm film, black and white, sound

Inspired by American experimental filmmakers from the early 1960s, this film explores the limits of physical/mental existence. Portraying my own body as a site of ritual and display, I appeared in the movie as the ghost wandering in nature. While I was being followed, worshiped, and looked at, in the end, I gazed back to the audience to question the very concept of voyeurism in the cinematic space.
